Unremarkable criminal per WP:CRIME. Bio also fails the WP:ONEEVENT rules. Could be part of another article, but certainly not on its own. Saqib (talk) 15:02, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
- Delete as a case of WP:BLP1E, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 15:16, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
- Delete as fails WP:BLPCRIME. There are thousands of criminals, and only those with significant coverage have an article. Knightrises10 (talk) 15:40, 29 September 2018 (UTC)

- Keep. He was CEO of Bank of Credit and Commerce International - which had 20 billion dollars in supposed assets that mostly went "puff" as part of the fraud case he was involved with - so no - not a run of the mill criminal. Financial scandals of this magnitude generate lasting coverage, which is present here - e.g. - [1][2][3][4][5]. In addition, there is surely (newspaper archive) coverage of his pre-collapse activities as CEO. Still covered in media in 2015 - [6]. Icewhiz (talk) 12:21, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
- Keep and improve per sources brought by Icewhiz. and note that it is not a BLP1E when you crash a large investment bank. E.M.Gregory (talk) 20:23, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
- Keep per the obvious coverage in the book [7] Agree that this was a major international fraudery that impacted large number of countries and people. which makes this person Pass our notability standards for WP:BIO--DBigXrayᗙ 20:30, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
